Kai Huang is an associate professor at Harbin Institute of Technology, and is mainly engaged in the research of damage, fracture and fatigue of composite materials and structures, fracture mechanics of nonhomogeneous materials. He has published more than 50 academic papers in leading international journals, such as Compos Sci Technol, Int J Fatigue, Eng Fract Mech, Int J Solids Struct, and Nano Lett.
